  • More than a decade of teaching experience spanning primary, secondary, undergraduate, and graduate education; two years of experience in marketing and content development
  • Revised and developed courses for Regent University in English composition and Victorian Literature for both online and in-person delivery
  • Conference Steering Committee Member and Co-organizer for the Uses of Religion Conference (Baylor, 2016) and the British Women Writers Conference (Baylor, 2021)
  • Recipient of the Collmer Research Fellowship (Baylor University) and the Stones of Venice Grant (Ruskin Library) for a research trip to the Ruskin Library at the University of Lancaster for doctoral research in the unpublished notebooks and letters of John Ruskin

Elizabeth and her husband have one daughter and live in Swayzee. They follow Wendell Berry's injunction to “practice resurrection” by praying, gardening, walking, and reading together.
